Fresh fruits, sprouts, legumes, beans, dried fruit, seaweed, nuts, coconut milk, and grains are rich in nutrients and can make a good organic diet. Organic diet refers to raw foods or unprocessed foods-completely uncooked foods.

If you wish to retain the nutritional value and the enzymes in the foods you cook, it is advisable that you control the urge to cook them.

Food digestion and water absorption in the body is aided by the presence of enzymes. This process can however be tampered if the enzymes are destroyed. This can happen if the food is cooked by heating which turns it toxic.

Toxins in the body can be removed through the consumption of raw or uncooked foods. Eating cooked foods harms the body more since more toxins is added in the body which may tamper with the total functioning of the body.

Cooked foods are known to be fatty and are not good for total functioning of the body. On the other hand, raw foods have low sodium content and a good percentage of potassium, magnesium and fiber which the body needs in order to work well.

The practice of eating raw foods has not gone unrewarded. Many people across the glob have discovered that as they keep consuming uncooked foods they noticed great benefits associated with this exercise. There are many health benefits with many sighting mental and physical betterments.

Raw foods are naturally flavored making them perfect for the well being of the person. No artificial flavors should be added since doing so may hamper the proper functioning of the body.

Carrot juice and dates is the best way to go if you wish to stop the cravings for sweet candies and so forth. Raw almonds are good for reducing cholesterol in the body while hone is top in the list in increasing body efficiency in athletics. Raw dairy products like unpasteurized milk and raw cheese are also beneficial to health in many ways.
