Can Stomach Exercises Do the Work of Burning Your Fat?

Having a slim stomach is always a top priority for most people who are trying to lose weight. However it is difficult to burn the fats covering the stomach muscles and get in shape with a tonned complexion. Ironically, the more we eat with an improper diet, the more the fats get stored in our cells and the first place it is likely to strike are the stomach. They form a layer of lose fat lining the stomach muscles forming the so-called "love handles" and gives an unattractive attire on our body. Besides the not so good looking attire, stomach fats are considered to be hazardes to health. Hypertension and heart diseases are expected to be few among those hazards.

The storage of excess fat in our body is given by the role of genitics. The basic biomechanics of our body says that fats are stored in places where you would not spend too much energy to carry them around.Fat storage is basically a survival strategy of our body. By storing the fats in our abs, which is less strained in any our daily activities, our body is able to store energy in the form of fat for future use.

Now the question is, do crunches and situps or any abs exercise remove abdominal fat? 'Not necessarily' would be the answer coz any exercise will help you built muscles, tone orshape them and not necessarily to burn the fat in your body.

Cardio exercises and strength-training routines are possibly the best way to burn the body fats. It is necessary to reduce the fatty food and calorie consumption and maintain a balance between the amount of calories consumed and the amount of calories burned. It is true that in any exercise, training or dieting routine, the stomach fat is the last to go off. Lifting weights and strength-training burn fats more efficeient even during the rest period and helps speed up the fat metabolism faster.

Work your entire body or a section of your body such as your stomach to burn those stomach fats. It is always not recommended to opt for cosmetic surgery such as liposuction coz it not only removes fats but also the fat cells. Removal of such fat cells from your stomach and continuing with an unhealthy lifestyle and eating habits will have an adverse effect on the fat storage in your body. It caused disproportional distribution of fats resulting in out of shape body. Hence it is always wise to reduce fat by exercising your abs
